It’s a typical German restaurant with a historical atmosphere.. The presentation was cool.. We ordered Goat cheese as a starter and Maultaschen as a main dish which were very tasy..Besides that, we had Käsespätzle and fish (trout).. Both were ordinary.. Desserts are strongly recommended!

We went there for a candlelight dinner. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Spätzle could have been better but the meat and Bratensoße were very good. We liked a lot the Pear soup as starter. I appreciate the effort to make a vegan Menu (I took the vegan risotto, which had nice interesting flavor but the grain were mostly broken and too long cooked ). Dessert ( ice cream with fruits salad ) and the wine were great.

Was there two times. The food is very delicious. But the service is very unfortunate: the waitress was always on a serious face and don't make people feel like welcomed at all. What a waste of food. Since the owner replied, I am gonna give more details about it. First I was there TWO times, the food was amazing at the first time but we were a bit late (around 1PM). The waitress kinda gave a message that you have to order very quickly and the whole process she was on her poker face as if we are delaying her working hours. But the food was nice, so we didn't care that much. And since the food was nice, we came for a second time with another two colleagues, one of them felt ill after climbing the "hill" in Tubingen, and she just wanted to take some rest for like 5-10 minutes. And the same waitress was like either we call an ambulence or you sit up (you are not allowed to rest here). So we chose to leave and paid the things that have been served. I am not sure if this can happen if we are German or white. Honestly we felt a bit discriminated after this. It made no sense to argue with her given our friend is not feeling so well. So we left, but we have to speak out that we were treated very badly. She should be telling this in a more kind and soft way, but during the whole thing she was with her poker face again... I am now asking for a apology since you can already see the reply and you haven't realized your misbehavior. Again good food but the service is very unfortunate.

Don't believe them. They close at 2 PM. The staff was not friendly or helpful. We arrived 2 minutes late and left hungry. Their on-line ad says they are open until 3. They have us the names of 2 other restaurants that were also closed. It might have been a nice place. But their ad on line is qri b g

Food was okay, the ambience was very nice but the service was terrible. Waiters were very impolite, we were charged for people who didn’t make it to the reservation in the end.
